Joti Dhesi


Joti Dhesi completed her degree in Business Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology; with her major in Marketing. Her passion in Project Management, Brand, Experiential and Digital Marketing lead her to work for some of the largest corporations in Canada which include Best Buy, TD, the Hudson’s Bay Company and now with TELUS.

In 2004, Joti was able to combine her passion for marketing and the arts when she sat on the board of directors that launched Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society – an organization dedicated to the exploration of this music and dance from the Punjab region of India.

In 2007, Joti moved to Toronto to pursue her career ambitions in Digital Marketing where she led many innovative nationwide marketing campaigns. While in Toronto, Joti merged her professional strengths with her love for the arts with two Non for profit organizations, Sikh Centennial Gala Committee and the Ad Club Committee and once she returned to Vancouver in 2012, she joined the CORSA Foundation Board to bring strategic lens to the organization.

With her passion for digital and culture; Joti co-founded in 2008, along with her business partner they set the path on bridging the gap they found in South Asian media for young professional women.
