Mobility Access: The front entrance to the museum is a long curved ramp. If entering the museum from the ISF PAUSE stage, enter the building from the ground floor patio facing the park, and an elevator will take you up to the main floor.
All event spaces of the Museum of Vancouver are wheelchair and scooter accessible, including all washrooms.
There is designated wheelchair accessible parking adjacent to the entrance ramp into the facility. Please note that it is paid parking.
The Museum of Vancouver has one wheelchair available for borrow. Walk up to borrow, or phone them at 604-736-4431 to arrange in advance.
Low Vision: This is a low vision friendly show; the programming itself is auditory.
Hearing Assist:The museum does not offer hearing assist. The map of the space has descriptions of the exhibits.
Bathrooms: There are no bathrooms on the main event level, an elevator takes you downstairs to the bathrooms. All multi-stall bathrooms are gendered (trans-inclusive), and there is one gender-neutral single stall bathroom. All bathrooms are wheelchair and scooter accessible.
Seat Design: Stacking metal and plastic chairs, no cushions no arms.
Scent: While Indian Summer Festival emails all ticket holders requesting that attendees refrain from wearing scented products at all of our events, we do not enforce this policy, nor does this venue have a permanent scent-free policy in place.
