Events at this Venue:
Many people are negatively impacted from exposure to scents. Please refrain from wearing scented products while attending Indian Summer Festival events.
Mobility Access: The Playhouse is wheelchair and scooter accessible, including washrooms, ramps and elevators, and wide entrances and exits. The entrance is at sidewalk level, with an elevator between the main lobby and balcony level. Wheelchair seating and wheelchair accessible bathrooms are on the orchestra level. There are 5 wheelchair spaces in the theatre.
Parking: Accessible parking is available with an accessible parking decal in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre parkade, beneath the theatre itself. Metro Parking attendants are tasked with ensuring that the accessible spots are available up to 30 minutes prior to the event, at which time the spots are released. To reserve an accessible parking space, phone 604-665-2193 at least one week before the performance.
Transit: Plan your trip. Address: 600 Hamilton Street, Vancouver.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms at this event will be gender neutral, with a mix of single stalled and multi-stalled bathrooms. Only the bathrooms on the orchestra level are accessible for wheelchairs and scooters.
Low Vision: This is low vision friendly programming. The programming itself is auditory. We offer one complimentary companion ticket for those who require assistance in order to attend.
Seating Plan: Raked, theatre style cushioned seats. Wheelchair seating is on the orchestra level.
Priority seating and early entry is available for this event for people with invisible disability, low vision, or chronic pain. We can arrange this onsite, or contact us to plan in advance.
Scent: While Indian Summer Festival emails all ticket holders requesting that attendees refrain from wearing scented products at all of our events, we do not enforce this policy, nor does this venue have permanent scent-free policies in place.
If you have any access requests or concerns regarding this information please email Laura June at email@example.com.
